Overview

CoachUSA is seeking Full-Time Diesel Mechanics for their Hanover, MD location. The mechanics play a critical role in maintaining bus safety and efficiency under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, with varying shifts available based on operational needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns using diagnostic tools
  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability
  • Ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards
  • Write detailed inspection reports and maintain electronic maintenance logs
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate and work effectively in all weather conditions

Required skills

  • Class A CDL
  • Diesel mechanics experience
  • Preventative maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools
  • Mechanical and technical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in the motor coach industry preferred
