Coach USA is seeking full-time mechanics for their facility in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This role involves repairing and inspecting company vehicles, ensuring operations are safe and efficient.
Key responsibilities
Perform basic, routine, and preventative maintenance bus repairs
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns or failures
Repair or replace malfunctioning components and other mechanical or electrical equipment
Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans
Collaborate with other diesel mechanics on operational repairs
Complete test drives to ensure all repaired vehicles run correctly and safely
Follow all safety rules and regulations during work assignments
Required skills
Experience in diesel repair and mechanical troubleshooting
Ability to handle tools and perform vehicle inspections
Class A or B diesel mechanic certification
5 years commercial experience for Class A or 1 year for Class B mechanics
Familiarity with Cummins and Detroit engines
Basic computer skills
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one
Ability to work in various weather conditions
