Overview

Lauzon Planchers de bois exclusifs is looking for an Industrial Mechanic for a permanent position in Thurso, Quebec. The role involves maintenance and repair of production equipment, contributing to continuous improvement processes, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate actively in the preventive maintenance program
  • Adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment
  • Troubleshoot production lines
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes to reduce downtime and material loss
  • Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

Required skills

  • DEP or DEC in industrial mechanics or electromechanics
  • Skills in mechanics, welding, and oxy-fuel cutting
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Autonomy, precision, attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and teamwork
