Overview

Enviro Connexions, a division of Waste Connections of Canada, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Granby, Quebec. This full-time, permanent position welcomes apprentices and focuses on maintaining and repairing a fleet of diesel trucks, offering a supportive environment for skill development and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other technical failures
  • Use diagnostic tools to effectively identify and solve problems in the field
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain clear records of work completed
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during equipment use and repair

Required skills

  • Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Experience in heavy vehicle mechanics including diagnostics, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Class 5 and Class 3 driver's license is a plus
  • Basic set of tools
  • Open work permit, Canadian permanent resident, or citizen status
