Overview

Enviro Connexions is seeking a heavy vehicle mechanic for their Sherbrooke location. This full-time, permanent position involves the maintenance and repair of a fleet of diesel trucks, emphasizing a commitment to safety and quality service in the waste management industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and other technical failures
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintain clear records of work done
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during equipment use and repairs

Required skills

  • Degree in heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Class 5 and Class 3 driver's license (an asset)
  • Basic toolset
  • Experience in heavy vehicle mechanics, including diagnostics and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Open work permit, permanent resident, or Canadian citizen
