Job Description

Overview

Groupe Transport Gino Bois is seeking a heavy equipment mechanic to join their team in Mont-Joli, Quebec. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy-duty mechanics and experience in alignment, working collaboratively to ensure vehicle functionality and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle alignments, including steering and suspension systems
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle conditions to identify alignment, suspension, and steering issues
  • Conduct repairs on various components such as shock absorbers, springs, and stabilizer bars
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance checks to avoid future issues
  • Maintain repair and service records using the MIR-RT system
  • Collaborate closely with other mechanics to solve mechanical problems
  • Complete other related tasks as needed
