Perform mechanical and electrical design validation and verification testing (MDVT/EDVT) of AI infrastructure systems, including structural, thermal, and mechanical subassemblies, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and internal specifications. Analyze mechanical performance characteristics such as thermal dissipation, structural integrity, vibration tolerance, and environmental durability to evaluate product reliability and manufacturability. Conduct mechanical root-cause failure analysis and recommend engineering design improvements to enhance system robustness and long-term operational performance. Collaborate with electrical, thermal, manufacturing, and product engineering teams during hardware bring-up and new product introduction (NPI) to ensure mechanical system readiness for production. Develop and implement mechanical validation methodologies, test protocols, and engineering documentation to assess technical readiness prior to manufacturing release. Optimize mechanical design efficiency, materials selection, and cost-performance tradeoffs through data-driven engineering evaluation and coordination with internal teams and external laboratories. REQUIREMENT: Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering field such as Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 40 hours per week SALARY: $180,999 - $190,999 per annum JOBSITE & INTERVIEW: 3600 Peterson Way, Santa Clara, CA 95054
