Overview

Providence Community Health is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join their Primary Care Outpatient Clinic in Providence, Rhode Island. This full-time position features a patient-centered approach and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care to an underserved population.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care in a primary care outpatient clinic
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals including behavioral health clinicians and nurse practitioners
  • Lead a team consisting of a RN and a dedicated Medical Assistant
  • Grow a patient panel aligned with clinical interests
  • Enhance cultural competency while working with a diverse patient population

Required skills

  • Board-certified Family Medicine Physician
  • Interest in community health and patient-centered care
  • Licensed or eligible in Rhode Island
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
