Overview

The Materials Manager at Adams Thermal Systems will lead material planning, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management activities to enhance operating performance in the automotive manufacturing sector. This role focuses on improving quality, delivery, and cost of products while managing supplier relationships and development.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead material planning activities for just in time material flow
  • Coordinate supply chain activities for sustainable world class performance
  • Serve as Supplier Development and Relationship Manager
  • Implement vendor qualification processes and monitor performance metrics
  • Manage special projects as assigned by the President

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree (Technical degree preferred)
  • Experience in OEM automotive manufacturing
  • Extensive experience with material planning and ERP software
  • Program management skills
  • Experience with supplier continuous improvement development and implementation
