Overview

The Materials Manager at Adams Thermal Systems will lead material planning, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management activities to achieve world-class operating performance. This role is critical for improving quality, delivery, and total cost of products and services in the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead material planning activities for just-in-time material flow
  • Coordinate supply chain activities for on-time delivery and supplier quality
  • Serve as Supplier Development and Relationship Manager
  • Implement vendor qualification processes and monitor performance metrics
  • May be assigned special projects by the President

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree; technical degree preferred
  • Experience in the OEM automotive manufacturing environment
  • Extensive experience in material planning and ERP software
  • Program management skills and experience
  • Supplier continuous improvement development and implementation experience
