Overview

Pipp Mobile Storage Systems Inc is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for their Itasca, IL location. With a focus on material handling in a clean and safe environment, the role offers opportunities for career growth and a strong team culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Supply production lines with exact quantities of material per sales order
  • Participate in receiving overseas containers by identifying products and quantities received, labeling accurately, and storing in designated locations
  • Safely operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment to load and unload trucks
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper product placement and removing unnecessary equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Required skills

  • Forklift certification
  • At least 1 year of material handling experience
  • Ability to read and interpret customer work orders and procedures
  • Mathematical skills for handling measurements
  • Logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills in English; Spanish is desirable
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks
