Overview

The Material Handler at Wavepoint3pl is responsible for operating a forklift to manage the movement and handling of merchandise within the warehouse. This role requires adherence to safety policies and procedures while ensuring efficient order selection and inspection.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, count, unload, and load merchandise
  • Inspect trailers and inbound materials for damage and contamination
  • Verify quantities and lot numbers against manifests
  • Unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment
  • Perform picking duties to meet customer service standards
  • Inspect outbound materials for damage and contamination
  • Load and unload products using forklifts and other power equipment
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a clean condition
  • Follow operational and safety procedures
