Overview

Arcadia Farms LLC, located in Arden, NC, is seeking two energetic Material Handlers (Fork Lift Operators) to join their team. The role entails loading trucks, conducting inventory counts, and using computer systems for data entry and management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing non-alcoholic beverages.

Key responsibilities

  • Load finished goods pallets into trucks and from warehouse
  • Operate manual and automatic pallet wrappers
  • Monitor accuracy of label application on pallets
  • Use RF scanners and ERP system for data entry
  • Prepare and process shipping paperwork and interact with truck drivers
  • Conduct periodic cycle count inventory
  • Identify and rework damaged materials
  • Perform weekly cleaning tasks as directed

Required skills

  • Forklift certification and experience or willingness to learn
  • Minimum of one year of forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong prioritization and finishing skills
  • Exceptional soft skills and team-oriented communication

What the company offers

  • Starting pay at $19.00, increasing to $22.10 after 90 days
  • Full-time positions with at least 40 hours per week
