Overview

Koozie Group is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift to support the efficient production flow within their facility. The role involves moving materials, performing inventory transactions, and ensuring that production areas are organized and stocked appropriately. Koozie Group is a leading supplier in the promotional products industry, dedicated to positively impacting their customers and communities.

Key responsibilities

  • Move materials to and from manufacturing areas
  • Keep floor inventory properly stocked and organized
  • Accurately record all transactions and transfers
  • Verify prescribed accuracy levels within inventory locations
  • Participate in floor counts as part of the recount team
  • Fill picking locations and rotate stock daily
  • Maintain effective working relationships with associates
  • Perform duties using approved safety equipment
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • Support teamwork and continuous process improvement
  • Cross-train and assist other departments as needed

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Three months of inventory control experience
  • Strong math and organizational skills
  • Understanding of materials flow
  • Computer knowledge
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Experience with power jack, pallet jack, calculator, electronic counting scale, 2-wheel hand cart, computer terminal, la
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. continuously and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
