Job Description

Overview

Koozie Group is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Red Wing, Minnesota. This role involves moving materials to ensure efficient production flow, while also maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting teamwork throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

  • Move all materials to and from manufacturing areas
  • Keep floor inventory properly stocked and organized
  • Accurately record transactions and transfers
  • Verify inventory accuracy levels
  • Participate in recounts during floor counts
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies using problem-solving methods
  • Fill picking locations in warehouses and rotate stock
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • Participate in continuous process improvement
  • Serve as a back-up to the Shipping Department

Required skills

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Minimum three months experience in inventory control
  • Strong math and organizational skills
  • Understanding of materials flow preferred
  • Computer knowledge
  • Forklift certification (required)
  • Ability to use power jack, pallet jack, calculator, electronic counting scale, and RF data collection gun
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills
