Overview

The Market Development Manager at U.S. Renal Care plays a pivotal role in facilitating patient admissions and supporting referral sources for dialysis services. This position involves building strong relationships with patients, physicians, and hospitals, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitates patient census growth through excellent customer service.
  • Conducts patient outreach for admissions to USRC facilities.
  • Coordinates the admission process for patients referred for dialysis services.
  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals to gather necessary information for outpatient placements.
  • Escalates issues related to admissions following established procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of insurers, payor groups, and referral sources.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the dialysis business and support services.
  • Communicates with Vice President of Business Development regarding program status and issues.
  • Promotes customer service standards and team collaboration.
  • Regularly attends work as scheduled.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in finance, business, or analytical disciplines.
  • Three or more years of experience in multi-location healthcare.
  • Previous experience in dialysis is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
