Job Description

Overview

JARP Industries Inc is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the 1st shift in Wausau, Wisconsin. This full-time position involves working under the direction of a Team Lead to remanufacture hydraulic cylinders, including draining, analyzing, assembling, and testing components.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and prioritize the remanufacturing process
  • Identify and direct parts as good or repairable
  • Wash and clean products as necessary
  • Use prints and standard practices for assembly
  • Follow work instructions and specifications for assembly techniques
  • Set up and use tools for product assembly and disassembly
  • Conduct final testing and record results appropriately
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Basic measuring device proficiency
  • Mechanical inclination and hands-on work preference
