Overview

As a Manufacturing Technician 1 at Daniel Defense, you will operate CNC machinery and perform inspection and production support functions under supervision. The role is essential in producing high-quality weapon systems and accessories for various customers while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery and ensure product quality through inspections
  • Load and unload raw materials in CNC machinery as per instructions
  • Monitor machinery performance and report any issues to supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the work area
  • Document production quantities and maintain records as required
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team under direct supervision
  • Participate in daily toolbox meetings on safety and quality
  • Engage in company-wide continuous improvement efforts

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of CNC experience or related manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures
