AVTEC FINISHING is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Manufacturing/Sandblasting Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training for candidates looking to start a career in manufacturing, focusing on metal finishing services critical to various industries including medical devices and aerospace.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate sandblasting equipment
  • Deburr parts using hand tools and machinery
  • Clean parts through degreasing processes
  • Read work orders and follow detailed instructions
  • Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy
  • Complete production documentation
  • Log completed work into company systems
  • Perform basic equipment checks and maintenance
  • Work safely and efficiently while meeting production goals
