Job Description

Overview

As a Manufacturing Reliability Engineer at Clarios, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, and systems within the manufacturing environment. This role involves optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance processes and eliminating production losses through thorough asset management practices.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and participate in capital projects considering total cost of ownership
  • Own and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance processes
  • Lead efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment and systems
  • Define and refine Asset Maintenance Plans incorporating preventive maintenance tasks
  • Standardize and govern Master Routines including plant feedback
  • Support MFMEA and root cause analysis initiatives
  • Liaise between Technology SMEs and Plant Maintenance Engineers
  • Provide engineering maintenance support to the plants
  • Execute the predictive maintenance master plan
  • Provide training to predictive maintenance technicians
  • Participate in the development of design and installation specifications

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering processes
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (desired)
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM principles
  • Lean-Six Sigma Black belt certification (desired)
  • Expertise in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) process
  • Knowledge of CMMS/EAM/ERP optimization
  • Proficiency in CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance & Prisma
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel 30%
