Job Description

Overview

As a Manufacturing Reliability Engineer at Clarios, you will focus on optimizing preventive and predictive maintenance processes, while ensuring the reliability and maintainability of equipment and systems. Your role includes developing asset maintenance plans and collaborating with both plant maintenance engineers and technology subject matter experts to address reliability challenges and streamline operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and participate in capital projects with a focus on total cost of ownership
  • Own and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance processes
  • Lead efforts to eliminate production losses and asset failures
  • Define, design, and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan
  • Standardize and govern Master Routines for maintenance
  • Execute and support the PdM master plan in plants
  • Provide engineering maintenance support to plants
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of equipment and MRO suppliers
  • Conduct training for PdM Technicians

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance engineering role
  • 5+ years of experience with reliability engineering processes
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) desired
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM
  • Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt certification desired
  • Expertise in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Asset Management
  • Proficient with CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance, and Prisma
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present and teach to large groups
  • Willingness to travel (30% travel required)
