Overview

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor for the 2nd Shift at Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is responsible for leading a team in food production activities, ensuring that production goals are met through effective scheduling, training, and performance monitoring. The role requires collaboration across various departments while adhering to all compliance and quality standards in a refrigerated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates food production activities and work schedules.
  • Sets clear expectations and goals for team members and provides necessary training.
  • Prioritizes work to meet company objectives and removes barriers to success.
  • Partners with departments like Quality, Distribution, and Safety.
  • Ensures compliance with FDA, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and other regulatory processes.
  • Maintains production reports and monitors tracking and quality systems.
  • Focuses on meeting customer needs, both internal and external.

Required skills

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Food industry experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
