Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.The Engineering Rapid Build Services (ERBS) department is seeking a Manufacturing Planner I to manage and lead the acquisition and manufacturing of Test Equipment.The Manufacturing Planner I will resolve test equipment and prototype manufacturing issues based on knowledge of the engineering design, need, and final intended application. This position includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and ensuring items are delivered to meet customers' schedules.The Manufacturing Planner I will utilize Engineering Manufacturing Management System (EMMS) to generate work orders, build/maintain indentured build of materials (IBOMS), generate material requisitions, and provide material/work order status to customers. This is an onsite position based in Tucson, Arizona.What You Will DoActively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixturesParticipate in engineering design reviewsManage and maintain build configuration and quality history recordsAcquire, track, manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test setsAssist in resolving manufacturing issues and overseeing delivery of final products to internal/external customersQualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)Less than 2 years of prior relevant engineering experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, electro-mechanical assembliesExperience working in a manufacturing or engineering lab environment areaExperience with material procurementUS Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
