Overview

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at Advanced Technology Services is responsible for repairing and troubleshooting electronic components at the intermediate level. The role focuses on enhancing the efficiency of factories through electronic maintenance, quality improvement, and effective communication with customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair and troubleshoot electronics at the component level
  • Utilize tools such as multimeters, Huntron tracker, and Hipot tester for troubleshooting
  • Solder and desolder circuit board components effectively
  • Assist with new product development and test fixture creation
  • Review and edit standard repair processes
  • Perform warranty analysis and develop root cause solutions
  • Complete required service report paperwork
  • Participate in quality initiatives and process improvements

Required skills

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from technical school
  • 5-8 years of related experience or 10 years of equivalent education and experience
  • Understanding of electronic components and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Effective communication skills
  • Competency in basic algebra and geometry
  • Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds and work in factory conditions
