Daily you will be responsible for the following human resources functions:Evaluate, further develop and improve strategic plan of human resources for the facilityLead, coach and oversee an HR GeneralistFacilitate recruitment plan for the plant, including conducting hourly hiring and interviewingWork with third party safety vendor to ensure that plant safety goals and training are completedCommunicate at executive, manager and staff levels to resolve HR inquiries and concernsPartner with operations on HR and safety-related projects and communicationCoach and mentor staff on HR-related concernsOversee benefits administration and open enrollmentEstablish and improve HR practices based on data and analysisManage the day-to-day HR operations and operate in a hands-on capacityEmpower and coach the HR team to meet their individual and team goalsManage multiple HR projects at a timeUtilize the company ATS (applicant tracking system) for documentation and reportingLead and conduct employee relations, including needed investigations and resolving employee conflictComplete daily HR functions as needed to support the teamComplete additional tasks as assignedThis is a great opportunity to work for a stable manufacturer and maintain and improve their plant HR processes. This is a hands-on management position; candidates must be willing to perform frontline HR functions. Candidates should be polished and professional while communicating at all levels. Individuals should feel comfortable on the manufacturing floor on a daily basis.
