Overview

Kinperium-Hiniker LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing engineering functions in Mankato, MN. This leadership role is pivotal in enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and maintaining high-quality standards in the production of agricultural and snow removal equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • Lead cross-functional engineering projects from conception through execution
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers
  • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and regulations
  • Monitor and analyze production costs, recommending cost-effective solutions
  • Champion lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Hands-on knowledge of machining operations
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
