Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager at CFS is responsible for leading engineering operations within a manufacturing environment, focusing on project execution, technical development, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to enhance production efficiency and product innovation. The role emphasizes driving continuous improvement in processes and systems while ensuring quality, compliance, and team development.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage manufacturing and engineering teams, ensuring balanced workloads.
  • Set technical direction and provide guidance for engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects to meet operational goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee capital projects and support R&D initiatives for new products and processes.
  • Design, develop, and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, and systems.
  • Support enhancements to products, processes, equipment, and methods.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams for smooth operations.
  • Support quality management systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare engineering, technical, and management reports.
  • Develop and communicate clear technical documentation and process standards.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
