Overview

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and recommend cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the launch of new products.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and recommend manufacturing processes and methods for cost reduction and quality improvement
  • Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products
  • Perform product/process analysis to enhance efficiency
  • Document work standards, control plans, and process specifications
  • Provide training to team members on processes and equipment
  • Assist with troubleshooting of equipment and processes
  • Monitor manufacturing equipment process conditions
  • Lead investigations into process abnormalities and suggest countermeasures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Support capacity analysis and manage project budgets
  • Develop a preventative maintenance plan for equipment
  • Participate in cross-functional teams

Required skills

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering
  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles, electrical principles, circuitry, and controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Experience with CAD, preferably Solidworks
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
