Job Description

Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineer II at Raytheon, you will develop and enhance manufacturing processes while working in a cross-functional team environment. Your role will focus on delivering efficient and high-quality manufacturing support to ensure reliable product delivery, especially in a defense and aerospace context.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions and workflow
  • Guide production teams through troubleshooting processes and incorporate engineering changes
  • Perform root cause and corrective action analysis for non-conforming material
  • Drive Continuous Improvement by implementing process enhancements
  • Provide real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
  • Experience with automated tooling and machinery
  • Familiarity with military and industry standards
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and innovative mindset
