Overview

Amber Boyd Law, LLC is looking for an experienced Managing Attorney to lead their litigation team in employment law cases from intake to resolution. The role combines legal leadership, case strategy, and team management to provide exceptional advocacy for clients and uphold the firm's mission to empower employees and ensure justice in the workplace.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee litigation strategy for employment law cases from EEOC charge through trial
  • Provide strategic guidance on case theory, evidence development, and damages strategy
  • Supervise associate attorneys, paralegals, and litigation staff
  • Conduct case strategy meetings and litigation planning sessions
  • Monitor caseloads and ensure cases progress appropriately
  • Oversee settlement negotiations and mediation preparation
  • Work with firm leadership to improve litigation systems, workflows, and processes
  • Serve as lead or supervising attorney on complex cases

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Indiana
  • 7+ years of litigation experience
  • Strong litigation skills including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and mediation
  • Experience managing or supervising attorneys
  • Employment law experience strongly preferred
