Job Description

Overview

As a Manager of Technology Product Management at American Airlines, you will play a crucial role in the Global Sales team within the Commercial Division. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results through the development and implementation of innovative platforms that enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point for platform and database strategy across Sales Tools.
  • Lead strategy for enterprise data activation with AI, defining data architecture for Sales Tools.
  • Own end-to-end data architecture and governance, managing data flows and integrations.
  • Drive enterprise data modeling and integration design across CRM and external tools.
  • Ensure integrity and management of CRM data and support key business initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach Product Owners and develop a high-performing team.
  • Utilize technical knowledge to support product strategies and frameworks.
  • Communicate regularly on product objectives, outcomes, and major initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as UX, Technology, and Compliance.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Delivery.
  • Familiarity with Agile Product Management tools.
  • Technical knowledge in A/B testing, product architecture, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong data analysis and metrics tracking capabilities.
  • Experience in determining Product Market fit and Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Relevant certifications in Product Management or Delivery.
