Overview

KPMG is seeking a Manager to join their Tax practice, contributing to a dynamic team at one of the world's top tax firms. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of clients, leveraging KPMG's extensive specialist network and innovative technologies to address complex business opportunities and challenges.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and operating partnerships.
  • Collaborate on accounting for income taxes and tax provision calculations.
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
  • Act as main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and managing relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality tax services and advice to clients.
  • Oversee risk management and financial performance of engagements, including billing and project budgets.
  • Participate in external market and business activities.

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or other approved credentials.
  • Experience with corporate taxation and ASC 740.
  • Prior experience managing multiple client engagements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
