Overview

Starface World is looking for a Manager, Social Art Director to enhance and innovate their social creative across various channels. This fully remote position requires a skilled leader with experience in social media strategy and a creative art direction background. The role focuses on building brand presence and fostering a creative team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead ideation and execution of social content across owned, paid, and retail channels
  • Support growth, engagement, and brand loyalty through original content creation
  • Evolve creative approach across existing and emerging platforms
  • Manage and mentor a Social Media Coordinator
  • Oversee content execution and provide constructive feedback
  • Source and manage creators, collaborating with a diverse range of influencers
  • Translate marketing and retail briefs into actionable social-first creative ideas
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ensure timely delivery of work while maintaining brand integrity
  • Balance creative output with quality and brand consistency

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in social media with a focus on creative or art direction
  • Experience managing a direct report
  • Deep understanding of cultural trends, especially among Gen Z and Gen Alpha
  • Strong insight into algorithms and platform behaviors
  • Ability to conceptualize compelling social-first creative
  • Experience in working with creators and managing creative processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to distinguish between high-priority tasks
  • Adaptability to new platforms and creative approaches
