Overview

The Manager, Projects & Technology in Corporate Engineering at CF Industries is responsible for leading technology applications within the company's facilities, focusing on engineering and construction project execution. This role involves supporting site teams with a goal of significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to the company's clean energy strategy by assessing and integrating emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate site teams in construction management and coordinate resources to meet environmental goals.
  • Analyze technologies related to hydrogen, ammonia, decarbonization, and clean energy.
  • Support the deployment of best practices across engineering, cost estimating, and project execution.
  • Manage the strategic capital budget process, including identification and prioritization of projects.
  • Identify and mentor talented resources for strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and departmental processes.

Required skills

  • Engineering degree in a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in operations or engineering at chemical manufacturing companies
  • Experience with capital project scope development and execution
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a TWIC and Passport
