Overview

The Product Manager at Shakespeare Company LLC will oversee product planning and marketing for the Polymers & Filaments commercial team. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, gathering customer requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product value propositions.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand customer experience and identify product gaps
  • Coordinate core positioning and messaging for product families
  • Create and enhance sales collateral for product portfolio
  • Work with cross-functional teams to set up new parts in the system
  • Support customer feedback on product improvement initiatives
  • Develop market-specific presentations highlighting products
  • Project future growth and product information needs
  • Translate customer needs into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business needs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams for quick time-to-market solutions
  • Visit customers to solicit feedback on products

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or marketing
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Product Manager or related role
  • Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
