Overview

KPMG is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager for its Tax practice in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses, and leading teams to deliver high-quality tax services. Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services for a variety of clients
  • Collaborate on income tax calculations and tax provision processes
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, building and maintaining relationships
  • Oversee financial performance of engagements, including billing and budgeting
  • Participate in market and business development activities

Required skills

  • Minimum five years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, or other approved credentials
  • Experience with corporate taxation and ASC 740
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
