Overview

The Manager of Enterprise Systems Integration at Ace Hardware Corporation is responsible for the enterprise integration strategy and overseeing the development and support of data flows across various platforms, ensuring operational resiliency and stability. This role involves managing a dedicated engineering team and focusing on modernizing integration patterns to support real-time business capabilities and data analytics.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a dedicated engineering team and oversee resource allocation and skills development.
  • Ensure performance, availability, and operational resiliency of data movement and integration systems.
  • Set engineering standards and implementation approaches for data flow using various tools.
  • Lead migration of integration patterns from batch to API-led connectivity and event-driven architectures.
  • Mentor integration engineering staff and promote technical competencies.
  • Oversee enterprise API lifecycle management including design standards and versioning.

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience in systems integration engineering
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing teams of 10+ developers
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica, IBM middleware, and Azure integration services
  • Experience managing production integration systems at high volume
  • Practical understanding of AI/ML in integration engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems
