Overview

The Manager - IT Operations at WaterOne is responsible for the reliable, secure, and cost-effective delivery of technology services across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role includes managing IT Engineering and Service Desk teams, ensuring operational performance, incident response, and continuous improvement, with a focus on infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and service desk functions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead IT Operations Department and own operational performance.
  • Manage the department's budget, staff, and operations.
  • Oversee daily technology services across hybrid IT and OT environments.
  • Ensure operational health and performance targets for core infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage disaster recovery plans and execute them as needed.
  • Drive automation and documentation to reduce operational risks.
  • Handle vendor and contract management, including procurement and SLA enforcement.
  • Provide 24/7 support for IT operations services.
  • Manage asset inventory and ensure secure operation of IT/OT networks.
  • Oversee IT Service Desk functions and customer support.
  • Support project implementation and communication to minimize business disruption.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and promote a positive work environment.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Seven years of experience in information technology, focusing on server and network administration.
  • Proven management skills in a Cisco and Microsoft environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in cybersecurity operations and incident response.
  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure and AWS.
  • Five years leading enterprise system implementation projects.

What the company offers

  • Pay range: $134,700 to $188,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
