Overview

The Manager of Federal Income Tax at bioMérieux will oversee federal income tax compliance and financial reporting for the US consolidated group and its affiliates. This role involves managing a team and collaborating with various departments while liaising with external consultants and auditors.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal tax returns and supporting computations, including US international tax calculations.
  • Manage R&D credit studies and coordinate with external consultants.
  • Prepare and file quarterly estimated tax payments and respond to federal notices.
  • Oversee the annual EAETR computation and related reporting.
  • Manage federal income tax audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Develop and enhance process improvements leveraging tax technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on broader financial initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and standards.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's and CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years of public accounting or corporate tax experience.
  • Experience with US international tax (FDII, BEAT, GILTI, FTC) preferred.
  • Knowledge of multinational federal income tax compliance and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax, Alteryx, and ERP software (SAP).
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and assertiveness.
