Overview

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manager of Employee Relations for the BlueOval Battery Park in Michigan, where you will lead HR initiatives during the launch of a new manufacturing facility. This leadership role encompasses strategic HR support, fostering a positive employee culture, and driving innovation within the workforce as part of the electrification movement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and guidance to leadership during business strategy development and implementation
  • Assist in aligning HR processes to enhance employee experiences in battery manufacturing
  • Build strategic partnerships on the HR Delivery Model and drive process improvements
  • Ensure quality of employee relations programs, including engagement surveys
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to advance company goals
  • Advise on complex HR matters from inception to resolution
  • Support Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, and Total Rewards
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify employee trends and inform improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of HR experience in various functions
  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
  • Demonstrated project management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Change Management and Organizational Design expertise
  • 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing preferred
