Overview

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manager for Employee Relations at the BlueOval Battery Park in Michigan. This role offers the chance to be part of a transformative initiative focused on launching a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will provide HR support and guidance to leadership, ensuring effective employee relations and alignment with business strategies.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and guidance to leadership
  • Assist in the planning, development, launch, and implementation of business strategy
  • Build strategic alignment with HR Delivery Model partners
  • Ensure quality of assigned employee relations programs and processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support company and Employee Relations goals
  • Advise on complex HR matters from inception to resolution
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify employee trends and inform improvements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in HR processes
  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in performance management and employee development
  • Ability to guide and influence all levels within the organization
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing (preferred)
