Overview

As the Manager of Employee Relations at Ford's BlueOval Battery Park in Michigan, you will play a crucial role in launching a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This position involves providing HR support, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving strategic alignment with various teams as part of Ford's transformation in the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide HR support and guidance to leadership during business strategy development and implementation
  • Drive process improvements and efficiencies for high-quality employee relations
  • Advise on complex HR matters including employee concerns and disputes
  • Support Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development, and HR Information Technology
  • Utilize data to identify employee trends and inform policies and training initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company and employee relations goals

Required skills

  • 10+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Data analysis and critical thinking
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of performance management and employee engagement
  • Experience in labor relations and manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's preferred
