Overview

The Manager of Education & Clinical Excellence at Rutland Regional Medical Center is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs throughout the organization. This role plays a critical part in supporting regulatory compliance, staff development, and enhancing the quality of care while promoting a culture of learning and excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for educational program development
  • Ensure ongoing professional development and promote evidence-based practices
  • Support regulatory compliance and onboarding processes
  • Contribute to Magnet designation efforts and Nursing Shared Governance
  • Work with diverse teams to promote equity and inclusion in education

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration or related field required
  • 5 years progressive experience in healthcare with 2 years in a leadership or education role
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont (RN)
  • Certified in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC), Nursing Education (CNE), or related credentials preferred
  • Knowledge of staff development and regulatory education
  • Strong skills in instruction design and adult learning theory
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

What the company offers

  • Salary Range = $107,000 - $156,000
