Overview

The Manager of Education & Clinical Excellence at Rutland Regional Medical Center will provide leadership and oversight for educational programs supporting both clinical and non-clinical staff. This role focuses on ongoing professional development, regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of learning throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support hospital's mission
  • Lead efforts towards Magnet designation and Nursing Shared Governance
  • Foster evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
  • Promote a culture of learning and clinical excellence within the organization

Required skills

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Masters Degree in Nursing, Education, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare, including 2 years in a leadership or education role
  • Licensed RN in the State of Vermont
  • Certifications in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or Nursing Education (CNE) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of staff development and regulatory education
  • Instructional design and adult learning theory expertise
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

What the company offers

  • Salary range of $107,000 - $156,000
