Overview

As the Manager of Cyber Technical at Capital One, you will play a vital role in enhancing Information Security and Risk Management across various initiatives and projects. Your expertise will help the organization maintain a robust security posture while collaborating with different teams to address their risk and security needs effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the central contact for Information Security and Risk Management within your business line.
  • Coordinate and execute proactive Information Security consulting covering Infrastructure Security, Resiliency, Data Security, and more.
  • Serve as an expert on Capital One's Information Security capabilities and policies.
  • Influence customers to adopt security capabilities in their development processes.
  • Work with leadership to anticipate objectives and needs, ensuring effective communication.
  • Manage security risk assessments and security architecture reviews.

Required skills

  • 6+ years of experience in security concepts and oversight.
  • 6+ years of experience in security risk assessments and architecture reviews.
  • 6+ years in software design, networking, and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with industry standard security audits and certifications like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC.
  • Proven experience with public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience in securing software applications and secure architecture skills.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability management.
  • Agile methodologies experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CISSP.
