Overview

John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS) is seeking a Manager of Business Development to drive new business growth in Wisconsin. This role involves independently identifying new salon opportunities and supporting local teams to enhance JPMS's market presence, particularly in hair color products.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new salon opportunities within the territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing new business.
  • Support local BSG team in opening top-tier salon doors.
  • Train BSG sales consultants and store teams on JPMS products.
  • Conduct presentations at BSG sales meetings.
  • Develop and manage a new business pipeline.
  • Create and execute account plans for targeted salons.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for onboarding and education.

Required skills

  • 3+ years of sales experience in the Salon Professional Channel
  • Track record of opening new salons
  • Strong prospecting and outreach skills
  • Comfortable discussing business with salon owners
  • Organizational skills for managing territory and plans
  • Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of AI tools for workplace purposes
  • Ability to communicate effectively in various formats.
