The role is responsible for leading the Facilities team that manages building operations, maintenance and security for the Credit Union. What you'll do Oversee strategic relationships with multiple vendors between internal Credit Union resources and external entitiesExercise effective cost control by developing and managing department budget and spendingReview acquisition and maintenance contracts to ensure service level agreements are metAnalyze, develop and manage solutions which adhere to applicable business and regulatory requirementsManage competing priorities successfully and direct resources and organizational communications as appropriateCreate efficiencies through process improvements and implementing effective risk mitigationManage and partner with the Building Operations ManagerAct as a member of the Instant Management Team (IMT) and participate in strategic and operational processes as related to critical disruptions to the facility or business operationsEnsure the daily maintenance and safety of all employees and visitors to the Credit Union's headquarters facilityMaintain an up-to-date inventory of all of the equipment and systems for the Credit Union's headquarters building, including the last time maintenance was conducted on it, when replacement should be scheduled for, etc. Foster a positive work environmentPerform other duties, as assignedThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act. All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's Degree in a discipline relevant to the role, or five or more years of proven experience in facilities management or related field Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Previous supervisory or leadership experience Skills, Licenses & Certifications Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the softwareAbility to demonstrate a proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement, user satisfaction, and adherence to standardsAbility to demonstrate a strong business acumen and decision making capabilitiesAbility to demonstrate excellent oran and written communications skillsAbility to demonstrate superior people management, interpersonal and employee engagement skills, to include directing, coaching, counseling and motivating staffAbility to supervise multiple team membersAbility to demonstrate strong vendor management skills to work collaboratively to achieve resultsAbility to be budget-conscious with a creative approach to cost savings initiativesSkilled with excellent troubleshooting ability to analyze problems objectively, think logically, and focus on follow-upAbility to interact professionally with all levels of managementAbility to be on-call 24/7Abiility to travel overnightAbility to maintain satisfactory performance and attendanceAbility to pass American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks What you'll get Feel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
