Job Description

Overview

Lighthouse CH is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to participate in providing in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum. The role involves working one-on-one with clients under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing therapy plans, and fostering meaningful relationships with children and their families.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
  • Deliver personalized, engaging therapy sessions for children.
  • Teach social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients to promote independence.
  • Conduct assessments, collect data, and track client progress.
  • Collaborate with BCBA and team to review and adjust therapy plans.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers.
  • Keep detailed documentation of therapy sessions and data.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum (preferred)
