Overview

Join Catholic Charities of Central Colorado as a Major Gifts Officer, where you'll play a crucial role in cultivating and managing relationships with major donors to support impactful programs. This position is tailored for someone who is driven by results and has a passion for building strong community partnerships.

Key responsibilities

  • Solicit and close new major gifts to achieve annual revenue goals
  • Manage a portfolio of donors, focusing on revenue generation and donor retention
  • Conduct donor research and cultivate relationships to increase giving
  • Maintain accurate records and donor information in Raiser's Edge
  • Assist in developing annual fundraising and strategic goals
  • Represent the agency at community events and share agency impact stories

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Six years of experience in donor relations or related field
  • Proven ability to close individual gifts of $10,000 or more
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with donor database software, preferably Raiser's Edge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills
