Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Trainer at Pilgrim's is responsible for managing the maintenance training program, which includes developing schedules, facilitating the DuPont Training Program, and tracking the progress of maintenance personnel. The role requires hands-on training facilitation and effective communication to provide feedback to team members and management.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the DuPont Training Program, including scheduling and execution.
  • Track and document training progress of team members.
  • Provide feedback on team member performance to both management and individuals.
  • Conduct hands-on training and verification of comprehension in the plant.
  • Develop and maintain testing lab equipment and classroom.
  • Continually develop training curriculum tailored to plant needs.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators and related documentation.

Required skills

  • Degree from technical/trade school preferred
  • Multi-skilled maintenance background desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Root cause analysis skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Strong writing and computer skills
